Mapping of Responsible Business practices towards children in Croatia
Objavljeno: 26 Nov, 2020
DVOKUT-ECRO participated this year in the Mapping of Responsible Business practices towards children in Croatia, organized by UNICEF, the Advisory Board for Children’s Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility, and performed by students of the Faculty of Economics under the leadership of prof. dr. sc. Mislav Ante Omazić. The project included about a hundred students who worked on case studies of 14 Croatian companies. Since DVOKUT-ECRO is actively working on promotion of socially responsible and sustainable business practices, we were happy to be included in this mapping.
The result of this project is a publication Examples of Responsible Business practices towards children – Summary of case studies, which included Dvokut’s business practice, specifically those that are in line with the principle of the company’s obligation to ensure dignified work conditions for young workers, parents and carers. Aditionally, our business practice in relation to children protection during a coronavirus pandemic was also mapped. Summary of case studies was presented at the online conference held on the International Children’s Day on November 20, 2020.
