Our Laboratory for Flora, Fauna and Habitats moved to Samobor on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 19 and 20, 2024). We participated in the event A Week in which we love nature in the Samobor City Library – Children’s Department where we held a workshop Peek into the world of microorganisms. We were also guests of the Kindergarten Izvor where we hung out with two older kindergarten groups. At the workshops, students and kindergarteners had the opportunity to independently look at what microorganisms look like through stereomicroscope and light microscope, they learned where they live, what they feed on, how they purify our waters, etc. We were greeted by a lot of interesting questions and there is no doubt that many future microbiologists are hiding among the participants. We would like to thank the Samobor City Library – Children’s Department and Kindergarten Izvor from Samobor for the invitation and dear students and kindergarteners for a wonderful gathering!
